About Us

La Clinica de Familia Early Head Start (LCDF-EHS) is a federally funded community-based program for low-income families with infants, toddlers, and pregnant women. Our purpose is to enhance children’s physical, social-emotional, language and intellectual development; to assist parents in fulfilling their parental role as their child’s first teacher; and to help parents move toward self-sufficiency. To qualify you must reside within Las Cruces Public Schools District, and meet the income guidelines.

LCDF-EHS services are provided both in a classroom setting (Center-Based Services) and through weekly scheduled visits with the child and their parent or guardian in the home (Home-Based Services). Services to Expectant Moms are provided through regularly scheduled visits in the home.
