At times, behaviors and habits affect a person’s well-being and can create life difficulties. Behavioral health is a connection be-tween a person’s behaviors and overall health, including physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Behavioral health providers work with individuals and groups to help achieve good mental and behavioral health.

Your Medical Team

Behavior management skills development services are delivered to clients up to age 21 that are diagnosed with a behavioral health condition and:

 

  • Are at risk for out-home residential placement due to unmanageable behavior at home or within the community;
  • Need behavior management intervention to avoid inpatient hospitalizations or residential treatment; or
  • Require behavior management support following an institutional or out-of-home placement as a transition to maintain the client in her or his home and community.
