Ravin Askew
Children’s OP Therapist at Motel
Ravin, has dedicated her life to supporting and advocating for children who have experienced trauma. With both a Bachelor and Master of Social Work from New Mexico State University, she has built a career rooted in compassion, resilience, and service. Ravin’s passion for helping children, especially those navigating the complexities of the foster care system, has helped shaped her path. Ravin earned her master’s degree while working full-time as a treatment coordinator in a treatment foster care program, a role that deepened her understanding of trauma and its lasting impact on young lives. It was during that time that she also gained valuable experience in suicide prevention and therapeutic support for children in crisis. Outside of her career, Ravin finds joy in the little things that bring peace: coloring, relaxing with her dogs, and enjoying a good movie. These moments help her to stay grounded and remind her of the importance of self-care, especially in a field that demands so much heart.
