La Clinica de Familia is now offering Medication Assisted Treatment also known as MAT.
What is MAT?
MAT is the use of medications to treat substance use disorders, including opioid and alcohol. It can include case management, therapy and peer support.
Who is eligible for MAT?
- Person meets criteria for Opioid or Alcohol Use Disorder
- Currently using an opioid or alcohol and is having difficulty discontinuing use
- Able to adhere to treatment plan, and is willing to follow safety procedures
What services are offered with MAT?
- Medication management with provider
- Therapy services
- Case Management
- Peer Support
